The America 250 Freedom Cyber & AI Championship – Round One (Washington, D.C.) was the inaugural qualifying round of the national championship, held in Washington, D.C., in celebration of America's 250th anniversary. More than 150 cybersecurity and artificial intelligence professionals from across the United States applied to compete, with only the top finalists advancing to the live competition. Round One marked the beginning of the championship journey, identifying the nation's leading cyber and AI talent as they progress toward the Grand Final.

Round One :  Challenge Format

Round One combined progressive Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, from beginner to advanced levels, with CyTaka's exclusive cyber simulation platform. After completing the CTF phase, finalists entered an immersive scenario that replicated a sophisticated cyberattack on critical infrastructure, requiring technical expertise, strategic thinking, rapid incident response, and AI-assisted decision-making under pressure.
